I am a UX/UI designer whose background includes pharmacy, classroom teaching and multimedia design. My journey to UX started with a desire to address large scale public health issues through accessible technology.
I've worked and interned at organizations like Allscripts, Mad*Pow, and University of Michigan. I studied Human-Computer Interaction and behavioral science through a dual degree at University of Michigan's School of Information and School of Public Health.
When I am not designing user experiences at work, I like to hang out with my dog, take local classes (currently ceramics and swing dancing), and watch baking shows. I also like to stay involved in the design community - in the past year I've volunteered as a Design Ambassador at Detroit City of Design (DC3)'s Design Festival, and I'm currently volunteering as an editor for User Experience Professional Association (UXPA) Magazine.
